पटना रिंग रोड के अंतिम चरण को केंद्र की मंजूरी, दिल्ली-एनसीआर जैसी मिलेगी कनेक्टिविटी

पटना। बिहार की राजधानी पटना को एक बड़ी सौगात मिली है। केंद्र सरकार ने पटना रिंग रोड परियोजना के आठवें और अंतिम चरण को अपनी मंजूरी दे दी है। इस मंजूरी के साथ ही करीब 150 किलोमीटर लंबी यह महत्वाकांक्षी परियोजना अब पूरी तरह स्वीकृत हो गई है, जिसे दिल्ली-एनसीआर के रिंग रोड नेटवर्क की तर्ज पर विकसित किया जा रहा है।
लगभग 16 हजार करोड़ रुपये की लागत से तैयार होने वाली इस परियोजना के पूर्ण होने के बाद पटना, वैशाली और सारण जिलों की आपसी कनेक्टिविटी में जबरदस्त सुधार आएगा। इससे न केवल राजधानी के भीतर यातायात का दबाव कम होगा, बल्कि आसपास के जिलों तक पहुंच भी सुगम होगी।
विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि रिंग रोड परियोजना के पूरा होने से पटना शहर के अंदरूनी इलाकों में जाम की समस्या से काफी राहत मिलेगी। भारी वाहन और लंबी दूरी के ट्रांसपोर्ट वाहन शहर के बाहर से ही अपनी मंजिल तक पहुंच सकेंगे, जिससे शहर के बीचोबीच से गुजरने वाले ट्रैफिक में उल्लेखनीय कमी आएगी।
इस परियोजना से क्षेत्र में औद्योगिक और व्यावसायिक विकास को भी नई गति मिलने की उम्मीद है। रिंग रोड के किनारे नए औद्योगिक क्षेत्र, लॉजिस्टिक हब और रिहायशी कॉलोनियां विकसित हो सकती हैं, जिससे रोजगार के नए अवसर उत्पन्न होंगे।
केंद्र सरकार की इस हरी झंडी को बिहार के लिए एक ऐतिहासिक कदम माना जा रहा है। राज्य सरकार और स्थानीय जनप्रतिनिधियों ने इस निर्णय का स्वागत किया है। अब परियोजना के शीघ्र क्रियान्वयन की उम्मीद जताई जा रही है ताकि पटनावासियों को जल्द से जल्द इसका लाभ मिल सके।
Patna has received a major infrastructure boost as the Central Government has approved the eighth and final phase of the Patna Ring Road project. The ambitious project, spanning approximately 150 kilometres and estimated to cost around Rs 16,000 crore, is being developed on the lines of the Delhi-NCR ring road network.
With this final approval, the entire Patna Ring Road project is now fully sanctioned. Once completed, the project is expected to significantly strengthen connectivity between Patna, Vaishali, and Saran districts, easing traffic movement across the region.
Experts believe the ring road will substantially reduce traffic congestion within the city, as heavy vehicles and long-distance transport will be able to bypass the city centre entirely. This is expected to bring relief to commuters dealing with daily traffic jams in Patna's busy corridors.
The project is also anticipated to spur industrial and commercial development along the ring road corridor, with potential for new logistics hubs, industrial zones, and residential colonies to emerge. State government officials and local representatives have welcomed the Centre's decision and expressed hope for swift implementation so that the benefits reach Patna residents at the earliest.
