सारण। बिहार के सारण जिले में एक दर्दनाक सड़क दुर्घटना में एक बुजुर्ग महिला की जान चली गई। घटना उस समय हुई जब 65 वर्षीय रामावती देवी सड़क पार कर रही थीं। इसी दौरान एक तेज रफ्तार अज्ञात बोलेरो गाड़ी ने उन्हें जोरदार टक्कर मार दी, जिससे वे गंभीर रूप से घायल होकर सड़क पर गिर पड़ीं।
घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही आसपास के लोगों ने तुरंत घायल महिला को अस्पताल ले जाने की कोशिश की। लेकिन रामावती देवी की हालत इतनी गंभीर थी कि अस्पताल पहुंचने से पहले ही रास्ते में उनकी सांसें थम गईं। चिकित्सकों ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया।
इस दुखद हादसे के बाद बोलेरो का चालक वाहन सहित मौके से फरार हो गया। घटनास्थल पर मौजूद लोगों में रोष और शोक का माहौल देखने को मिला। परिजनों को जब इस दुर्घटना की सूचना मिली तो परिवार में कोहराम मच गया।
सूचना मिलने पर स्थानीय पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और घटना का जायजा लिया। पुलिस ने अज्ञात वाहन चालक के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है। पुलिस सीसीटीवी फुटेज और अन्य साक्ष्यों के आधार पर फरार आरोपी चालक की तलाश कर रही है।
