पटना के दीघा थाना क्षेत्र में एक चौंकाने वाली घटना सामने आई है, जहां दो युवतियों ने ग्राहक बनकर एक ज्वेलरी दुकान में लूट की कोशिश की। यह वारदात मां वैष्णवी ज्वेलर्स में उस समय हुई जब दोनों युवतियां दुकान में गहने देखने के बहाने दाखिल हुईं।
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार, दोनों युवतियों ने पहले ग्राहक की तरह काउंटर पर बैठकर कई तरह के गहने देखे और दुकानदार का भरोसा जीतने की कोशिश की। जैसे ही मौका मिला, उन्होंने दुकानदार की आंखों में एक तेज केमिकल स्प्रे छिड़क दिया, ताकि वह कुछ देख न सके और वे आसानी से ज्वेलरी लेकर फरार हो सकें।
हालांकि, दुकानदार ने तत्परता और साहस दिखाते हुए इस वारदात को नाकाम कर दिया। आंखों में तकलीफ के बावजूद उसने शोर मचाया, जिससे आसपास के लोग और दुकानदार तुरंत मौके पर इकट्ठा हो गए। हंगामा होते देख दोनों युवतियां मौके से भागने में कामयाब रहीं।
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही दीघा थाना पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी। पुलिस ने दुकान में लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरों की फुटेज खंगालनी शुरू कर दी है, ताकि आरोपी युवतियों की पहचान की जा सके। फिलहाल दोनों आरोपी फरार हैं और पुलिस उनकी तलाश में जुटी है।
इस घटना ने इलाके के व्यापारियों में दहशत पैदा कर दी है। ज्वेलर्स एसोसिएशन ने पुलिस से क्षेत्र में गश्त बढ़ाने और दुकानदारों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने की मांग की है। पुलिस ने दुकानदारों को अपनी दुकानों में सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगाने और संदिग्ध व्यक्तियों से सतर्क रहने की सलाह दी है।

The incident took place at Maa Vaishnavi Jewellers, where the two women entered the shop under the pretense of browsing jewelry. After gaining the shopkeeper's trust by examining various ornaments, they allegedly sprayed a strong chemical directly into his eyes, intending to incapacitate him and flee with the jewelry.
However, the brave shopkeeper managed to raise an alarm despite the discomfort caused by the spray. His cries drew nearby residents and other shopkeepers to the scene, forcing the two accused women to flee empty-handed without being able to steal any jewelry.
Digha police arrived promptly and launched an investigation into the matter. Officers have begun reviewing CCTV footage from the shop and surrounding areas to identify the accused women, who remain at large.
The incident has created panic among traders and jewelers in the area. Local jewelers' associations have urged police to increase patrolling and ensure the safety of shopkeepers. Police have advised shop owners to remain vigilant and ensure their premises are equipped with functional CCTV cameras.
