नई दिल्ली/पटना: भारत में जिस तरह से टेलीकॉम कंपनियां अभी तक अनलिमिटेड 5G डेटा की सुविधा मुफ्त में दे रही थीं, वह व्यवस्था जल्द बदल सकती है। दूरसंचार क्षेत्र के विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि आने वाले समय में टेलीकॉम कंपनियां अपने रिचार्ज प्लान्स और 5G डेटा प्राइसिंग में बड़े बदलाव कर सकती हैं, जिसका सीधा असर आम उपभोक्ताओं की जेब पर पड़ेगा।
फिलहाल देश में Jio, Airtel और Vi जैसी प्रमुख टेलीकॉम कंपनियां अपने 4G प्लान्स के साथ ही 5G डेटा भी मुफ्त में उपलब्ध कराती हैं। लेकिन अब एक्सपर्ट्स का कहना है कि यह मुफ्त सेवा लंबे समय तक जारी रखना टेलीकॉम कंपनियों के लिए व्यावसायिक रूप से संभव नहीं है।
विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार, 5G नेटवर्क के विस्तार में टेलीकॉम कंपनियों ने अरबों रुपये का निवेश किया है। ऐसे में वे जल्द ही 5G डेटा के लिए अलग से प्रीमियम चार्ज लगाना शुरू कर सकती हैं। अनुमान है कि 5G के लिए अलग प्लान आने के बाद मोबाइल खर्च में 20 से 40 प्रतिशत तक की वृद्धि हो सकती है।
बिहार जैसे राज्यों में जहां 5G सेवाएं अभी धीरे-धीरे पहुंच रही हैं, वहां के उपभोक्ताओं के लिए यह खबर महत्वपूर्ण है। पटना, गया, मुजफ्फरपुर जैसे बड़े शहरों में 5G की कनेक्टिविटी बढ़ रही है और लाखों उपयोगकर्ता इस सेवा का लाभ उठा रहे हैं।
उपभोक्ता विशेषज्ञों की सलाह है कि लोगों को अभी से अपने मोबाइल बजट की समीक्षा करनी चाहिए और यह तय करना चाहिए कि उन्हें वास्तव में 5G की जरूरत है या नहीं। साथ ही, टेलीकॉम कंपनियों के नए प्लान्स की तुलना करके ही रिचार्ज करें।
फिलहाल किसी भी टेलीकॉम कंपनी ने आधिकारिक तौर पर 5G प्राइसिंग में बदलाव की घोषणा नहीं की है, लेकिन उद्योग जगत में इस बदलाव को लेकर चर्चाएं जोरों पर हैं।

If separate 5G plans are introduced, analysts estimate that consumers could see their monthly mobile bills rise by anywhere between 20 to 40 percent. This would significantly impact users in tier-1 and tier-2 cities where 5G connectivity is rapidly growing.
In Bihar, cities like Patna, Gaya, and Muzaffarpur are gradually seeing 5G rollouts, and millions of subscribers currently enjoy the service at no extra cost. Any pricing revision will directly affect these users.
No official announcement has been made by any telecom operator yet, but industry insiders suggest consumers should review their mobile budgets and compare upcoming plans carefully before their next recharge.
