नई दिल्ली/कोलकाता: भारत सरकार के 'ऑपरेशन पुशबैक' का असर अब सीमा पर साफ तौर पर दिखने लगा है। बांग्लादेश से अवैध रूप से भारत में घुसने की कोशिश करने वाले घुसपैठिये अब नो-मैन्स लैंड में फंसे हुए हैं, जहाँ न तो वे भारत में प्रवेश कर पा रहे हैं और न ही बांग्लादेश उन्हें वापस ले रहा है।
पश्चिम बंगाल के नेता प्रतिपक्ष शुभेंदु अधिकारी ने हाल ही में यह दावा किया कि अब तक 4,800 से अधिक बांग्लादेशी घुसपैठियों को चिह्नित कर बांग्लादेश वापस भेजा जा चुका है। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि विभिन्न होल्डिंग सेंटरों में बंद घुसपैठियों को भी चरणबद्ध तरीके से सीमा पार भेजने की प्रक्रिया जारी है।
ऑपरेशन पुशबैक केंद्र सरकार की एक सख्त पहल है जिसका उद्देश्य भारत-बांग्लादेश सीमा पर अवैध घुसपैठ को पूरी तरह रोकना और पहले से घुसे हुए अवैध प्रवासियों को वापस भेजना है। बीएसएफ और स्थानीय प्रशासन के संयुक्त प्रयासों से यह अभियान तेज गति से चलाया जा रहा है।
सूत्रों के अनुसार, बांग्लादेश की ओर से इन घुसपैठियों को वापस लेने में आनाकानी की जा रही है, जिसके कारण सीमावर्ती इलाकों में नो-मैन्स लैंड में लोगों की संख्या बढ़ती जा रही है। यह स्थिति मानवीय दृष्टिकोण से भी चिंताजनक बताई जा रही है।
विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि यह अभियान भारत की सीमा सुरक्षा नीति में एक महत्वपूर्ण बदलाव का संकेत देता है। सरकार का स्पष्ट संदेश है कि अवैध घुसपैठ किसी भी कीमत पर बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी और जो लोग अवैध तरीके से देश में आए हैं, उन्हें वापस भेजा जाएगा। आने वाले दिनों में यह अभियान और तेज होने की उम्मीद है।

He further stated that infiltrators currently held in various holding centres will also be systematically sent back across the border in a phased manner.
