नई दिल्ली/पटना: नेशनल टेस्टिंग एजेंसी (NTA) ने नीट यूजी 2026 की री-एग्जाम को लेकर छात्रों के हित में एक बड़ा फैसला लिया है। 21 जून 2026 को होने वाले इस री-एग्जाम में अभ्यर्थियों को अब 195 मिनट यानी 3 घंटे 15 मिनट का समय दिया जाएगा, जो सामान्य परीक्षा की अवधि से 15 मिनट अधिक है।
एनटीए की ओर से जारी आधिकारिक सूचना के अनुसार, छात्रों को परीक्षा के दौरान रफ वर्क के लिए अलग से एक अतिरिक्त पेपर भी प्रदान किया जाएगा। यह कदम परीक्षार्थियों की सुविधा को ध्यान में रखते हुए उठाया गया है, ताकि वे बिना किसी परेशानी के अपनी गणनाएं और रफ कार्य कर सकें।
गौरतलब है कि नीट यूजी 2025 में हुई कथित अनियमितताओं और पेपर लीक विवाद के बाद सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के निर्देश पर यह री-एग्जाम आयोजित की जा रही है। इस परीक्षा में देशभर के लाखों मेडिकल अभ्यर्थी शामिल होंगे, जिनमें बिहार के भी हजारों छात्र हैं।
एनटीए के इस निर्णय का छात्र संगठनों और अभिभावकों ने स्वागत किया है। विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि अतिरिक्त समय और रफ वर्क शीट मिलने से छात्रों का तनाव कम होगा और वे बेहतर प्रदर्शन कर सकेंगे।
बिहार के कोचिंग संस्थानों में तैयारी कर रहे छात्रों ने भी इस फैसले पर राहत जताई है। छात्रों को सलाह दी जा रही है कि वे 21 जून की परीक्षा के लिए एनटीए की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर जाकर एडमिट कार्ड और अन्य दिशा-निर्देश समय से डाउनलोड करें। परीक्षा केंद्र पर समय से पहुंचना और सभी जरूरी दस्तावेज साथ लाना अनिवार्य होगा।
New Delhi/Patna: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a significant relief measure for students appearing in the NEET UG Re-Exam 2026, scheduled for June 21, 2026. According to the official notification, candidates will now be given 195 minutes — that is, 3 hours and 15 minutes — to complete their paper, which is 15 minutes more than the standard exam duration.
In addition to the extra time, the NTA has also confirmed that students will be provided a separate sheet specifically for rough work during the examination. This move is aimed at making the process smoother and reducing the pressure on aspirants.
The re-examination is being conducted following allegations of irregularities and a paper leak controversy in NEET UG 2025, on the directions of the Supreme Court. Lakhs of medical aspirants across the country, including thousands from Bihar, are expected to appear in this re-exam.
Students and parents have welcomed the NTA's decision, with education experts noting that the additional time and rough work sheet will help candidates perform better under reduced stress. Students are advised to visit the official NTA website to download their admit cards and review all guidelines well before the examination date.
