नई दिल्ली: केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने शनिवार को जानकारी दी कि देश में पिछले 24 घंटों में कोरोना वायरस के 21,411 नए मामले सामने आए हैं और 67 लोगों की मौत कोविड-19 से संबंधित कारणों से हुई है। यह आंकड़ा एक बार फिर देश में महामारी की चिंताजनक स्थिति को उजागर करता है।
स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय के अनुसार, एक दिन पहले की तुलना में 618 अतिरिक्त मामलों की बढ़ोतरी के साथ देश का सक्रिय केसलोड 1,49,482 से बढ़कर 1,50,100 हो गया है। यह आंकड़ा पिछले कई हफ्तों में सक्रिय मामलों में हो रही लगातार वृद्धि का संकेत देता है।
हालांकि, राहत की बात यह है कि पिछले 24 घंटों में 20,726 लोग कोविड से ठीक भी हुए हैं। इसके साथ ही देश की राष्ट्रीय रिकवरी दर 98.46 प्रतिशत पर बनी हुई है, जो यह दर्शाती है कि उपचार के मोर्चे पर भारत की स्थिति अभी भी मजबूत है।
बिहार सहित देश के कई राज्यों में कोविड मामलों में उछाल देखा जा रहा है। स्वास्थ्य विशेषज्ञों ने लोगों से सावधानी बरतने, मास्क पहनने और भीड़-भाड़ वाले स्थानों से बचने की अपील की है। केंद्र सरकार ने राज्यों को सतर्क रहने और टेस्टिंग, ट्रैकिंग तथा उपचार की व्यवस्था चुस्त-दुरुस्त रखने के निर्देश दिए हैं।
स्वास्थ्य अधिकारियों ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया है कि टीकाकरण अभियान को और तेज किया जाएगा ताकि संक्रमण की रफ्तार पर लगाम लगाई जा सके। नागरिकों से अनुरोध है कि वे सरकार द्वारा जारी दिशा-निर्देशों का पालन करें और किसी भी लक्षण के प्रकट होने पर तत्काल चिकित्सीय सहायता लें।

Despite the uptick in active cases, the health ministry noted that 20,726 patients recovered from Covid-19 during the same period, keeping the national recovery rate steady at 98.46 percent — a figure that continues to reflect the effectiveness of India's medical response to the pandemic.
Health experts across the country, including in Bihar, have urged citizens to remain vigilant, wear masks in crowded places, and follow all government-issued safety protocols. The central government has directed state authorities to keep their testing, tracking, and treatment infrastructure on high alert amid the rising case numbers.
Officials have also emphasised the importance of accelerating the vaccination drive to curb the spread of the virus. Citizens displaying symptoms are advised to seek medical attention immediately and avoid contact with vulnerable populations. The situation continues to be monitored closely by both central and state health authorities.
