गुमला/सिमडेगा: झारखंड के गुमला और सिमडेगा जिले की सीमा पर एक भीषण सड़क हादसे में तीन मासूम बच्चों समेत पांच लोगों की दर्दनाक मौत हो गई। यह हृदयविदारक घटना कोलेबिरा प्रखंड के अघरमा के पास हुई, जहां तेज रफ्तार स्कॉर्पियो वाहन अनियंत्रित होकर एक पेड़ से जा टकराई।
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार, वाहन में सवार लोग किसी पारिवारिक या सामाजिक कार्यक्रम से लौट रहे थे, तभी अचानक वाहन का संतुलन बिगड़ गया और वह सड़क किनारे खड़े पेड़ से टकरा गया। टक्कर इतनी जोरदार थी कि वाहन बुरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया और उसमें सवार यात्री इधर-उधर जा गिरे।
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही स्थानीय लोग मौके पर पहुंचे और घायलों को वाहन से बाहर निकाला। मौके पर ही तीन बच्चों सहित पांच लोगों ने दम तोड़ दिया। घायल व्यक्तियों को तत्काल नजदीकी अस्पतालों में भर्ती कराया गया, जहां बसिया और कोलेबिरा अस्पताल में उनका उपचार जारी है। कुछ घायलों की हालत गंभीर बताई जा रही है।
घटना की जानकारी होते ही स्थानीय पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और शवों को अपने कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया। पुलिस ने मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है। प्रारंभिक जांच में वाहन की तेज रफ्तार और संभवतः चालक की लापरवाही को हादसे का कारण माना जा रहा है।
इस दर्दनाक हादसे ने पूरे इलाके में शोक की लहर दौड़ा दी है। मृतकों के परिजनों में कोहराम मच गया है। स्थानीय प्रशासन और जनप्रतिनिधियों ने मृतकों के परिवारों के प्रति संवेदना व्यक्त की है। यह हादसा एक बार फिर इस क्षेत्र की सड़क सुरक्षा की खराब स्थिति को उजागर करता है और यातायात नियमों के पालन की आवश्यकता को रेखांकित करता है।
A devastating road accident on the border of Gumla and Simdega districts in Jharkhand claimed five lives, including three children, when a Scorpio vehicle lost control and crashed into a tree near Agharma in the Kolebira block.
According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle was carrying several passengers when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to collide violently with a roadside tree. The impact was severe, leaving the vehicle badly damaged and throwing occupants around.
Local residents rushed to the scene and helped rescue the injured from the wreckage. Sadly, five people — including three young children — were pronounced dead at the spot. The injured survivors were rushed to nearby hospitals, where they are currently receiving treatment at Basia and Kolebira hospitals. Some of the injured are reported to be in serious condition.
Police arrived at the scene promptly, took charge of the bodies, and sent them for post-mortem examination. An investigation has been launched, with initial findings pointing to excessive speed and possible driver negligence as the primary causes of the accident.
The tragedy has cast a shadow of grief over the entire region, with locals and officials expressing deep condolences to the bereaved families. The accident once again highlights the urgent need for improved road safety measures in the area.
