नवादा में राजस्व कर्मचारी 15 हजार की रिश्वत लेते रंगे हाथ गिरफ्तार, बिहार विजिलेंस की बड़ी कार्रवाई

बिहार विजिलेंस ब्यूरो ने नवादा जिले में भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए एक राजस्व कर्मचारी को रिश्वत लेते हुए रंगे हाथ गिरफ्तार किया है। गिरफ्तार कर्मचारी का नाम सुजीत कुमार है, जो नवादा सदर प्रखंड के भगवानपुर पंचायत में पदस्थापित था।
जानकारी के अनुसार, शिकायतकर्ता ने बिहार विजिलेंस को सूचना दी थी कि राजस्व कर्मचारी सुजीत कुमार भूमि परिमार्जन कार्य को पूरा करने के बदले में 15 हजार रुपये की रिश्वत की मांग कर रहा है। शिकायत मिलते ही विजिलेंस की टीम सक्रिय हो गई और पूरे मामले की जांच-पड़ताल शुरू की।
विजिलेंस टीम ने जाल बिछाते हुए शिकायतकर्ता को रिश्वत की रकम देकर कर्मचारी के पास भेजा। जैसे ही सुजीत कुमार ने 15 हजार रुपये की रिश्वत स्वीकार की, विजिलेंस की टीम ने मौके पर छापेमारी कर उसे रंगे हाथ गिरफ्तार कर लिया। गिरफ्तारी के समय उसके पास से रिश्वत की रकम भी बरामद की गई।
बिहार में भूमि से संबंधित कार्यों जैसे परिमार्जन, दाखिल-खारिज और जमाबंदी में भ्रष्टाचार की शिकायतें अक्सर सामने आती रहती हैं। इस गिरफ्तारी से जनता को कुछ राहत मिलने की उम्मीद है। विजिलेंस ब्यूरो के अधिकारियों ने स्पष्ट किया है कि भ्रष्टाचार में लिप्त किसी भी सरकारी कर्मचारी को बख्शा नहीं जाएगा।
आरोपी कर्मचारी सुजीत कुमार को गिरफ्तार कर आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई के लिए संबंधित थाने में सौंप दिया गया है। इस मामले में विभागीय जांच भी शुरू किए जाने की संभावना है। बिहार विजिलेंस की इस कार्रवाई की क्षेत्र में काफी सराहना की जा रही है।
Bihar Vigilance Bureau carried out a significant anti-corruption operation in Nawada district, arresting a revenue employee red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000. The accused, identified as Sujit Kumar, was posted at Bhagwanpur Panchayat under Nawada Sadar block.
According to officials, a complainant had approached Bihar Vigilance with a complaint that revenue employee Sujit Kumar was demanding Rs 15,000 as a bribe in exchange for completing land parimarjan (land record correction) work. Acting swiftly on the complaint, the vigilance team laid a trap and sent the complainant with the bribe money.
As soon as Sujit Kumar accepted the amount, the vigilance team swooped in and arrested him on the spot. The bribe money was also recovered from his possession at the time of arrest. The accused has been handed over to the concerned police station for further legal proceedings, and a departmental inquiry is also likely to be initiated.
Complaints of corruption in land-related services such as parimarjan, dakhil-kharij, and jamabandi are frequently reported in Bihar. Vigilance officials have made it clear that no government employee found involved in corrupt practices will be spared.
