पुलिस रेड से बौखलाए अभिषेक बनर्जी बोले — 'मैं कुछ छिपा रहा हूं तो तलाशी लेने वालों से पूछिए'

कोलकाता: बंगाल विधानसभा चुनाव में करारी हार के बाद तृणमूल कांग्रेस (TMC) पहले से ही संकट में घिरी हुई है और अब पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव एवं सांसद अभिषेक बनर्जी की मुश्किलें और बढ़ गई हैं। उनके आवास पर पुलिस की छापेमारी के बाद वे मीडिया के सामने खुलकर बोले और कहा कि यदि उन पर कोई छिपाने का आरोप है, तो तलाशी लेने वालों से ही पूछा जाए।
अभिषेक बनर्जी ने स्पष्ट शब्दों में कहा, "मैं कुछ छिपा रहा हूं तो तलाशी लेने वालों से पूछिए, मुझसे नहीं। जो लोग आए थे, वे जानते हैं कि उन्हें क्या मिला और क्या नहीं मिला।" उनके इस बयान से साफ है कि वे इस छापेमारी को राजनीतिक रूप से प्रेरित मानते हैं।
गौरतलब है कि बंगाल चुनाव में हार के बाद से तृणमूल कांग्रेस की आंतरिक कलह भी सामने आ गई है। पार्टी के कई बागी नेता अभिषेक बनर्जी को खुलेआम नकार रहे हैं। इन नेताओं ने यहां तक कह दिया है कि पार्टी प्रमुख ममता बनर्जी को पार्टी कार्यकर्ताओं और अभिषेक बनर्जी में से किसी एक को चुनना होगा।
इससे पहले अभिषेक बनर्जी पर शारीरिक हमला भी हो चुका है, जिसने पार्टी के भीतर और बाहर खलबली मचा दी थी। अब घर पर पुलिस की रेड ने उनकी परेशानियों को और गहरा कर दिया है।
राजनीतिक विश्लेषकों का मानना है कि बंगाल चुनाव में मिली हार के बाद TMC के भीतर सत्ता संघर्ष तेज हो गया है और अभिषेक बनर्जी इस संघर्ष के केंद्र में हैं। पार्टी में उनकी स्थिति कमजोर होती दिख रही है और विरोधी खेमा उन्हें किनारे करने की कोशिश में लगा है। आने वाले दिनों में TMC की राजनीति और दिलचस्प होने की उम्मीद है।
Kolkata: Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP and national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee hit back at the media following a police raid at his residence, saying that if anyone believed he was hiding something, they should ask those who conducted the search — not him.
"Ask those who searched my home if I'm hiding anything. They know what they found and what they didn't," Banerjee said defiantly, implying the raid was politically motivated.
The incident comes at a particularly turbulent time for Banerjee and the TMC. Following the party's defeat in the West Bengal Assembly elections, internal rebellion has erupted within TMC ranks. Several dissident leaders have openly rejected Banerjee's leadership, even suggesting that party chief Mamata Banerjee must choose between her nephew and the party's grassroots workers.
Prior to this raid, Abhishek Banerjee had also survived a physical attack, which had sent shockwaves through political circles. The police raid has now added another layer of pressure on the embattled TMC leader.
Political analysts suggest that the post-election power struggle within TMC has intensified, with Abhishek Banerjee increasingly finding himself at the centre of the storm. His political position appears to be weakening as rival factions within the party push to sideline him.
